I’ve been meaning to write about my HK experience (December 2010) but writing about it would take a lot out of me (e.g. deciding what to write, pictures to upload, etc.) So time consuming that it took me almost 3 years to finally blog about it.

Ocean Park

Well, the trip to HK almost didn’t happen because I was initially denied vacation from work.  Since I’m very flexible and with the help of a few co-workers, I was able to switch my work days around so that I’d be able to have about 10 days off..  SWEET! Lol…  Of course that meant working a lot of consecutive days but it is worth every hour…

Hong Kong reminds me of New York, with all the lights, busy streets, and locals hurrying everywhere.  The train system (MTR) is very accessible.  Of course, we were getting lost a lot of times in the beginning but we almost got the hang of using the MTR.  The Octopus card (kind of like a credit card used for transportation) was really handy throughout our trip.
